About Guest, Brandon Fitchett
Brandon Fitchett leads wind energy R&D at the ElectricPower Research Institute (EPRI). EPRI’s Renewable Power Generation programs provide innovative technology evaluation and expertise to develop balanced, science-based strategies to support development and long-term management of wind power assets. These strategies include optimizing reliability, performance, cost, and operations & maintenance. Before joining EPRI in 2016, Brandon held engineering management positions at multiple wind turbine OEMs for blade design, system integration, aerodynamics, and operations engineering. Prior to entering the wind industry in 2007, Brandon worked in aerial drone R&D and on-orbit satellite operations. Brandon holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in aerospace engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park.
